| Characteristic of Tatami mat
Japanese people are sensitive of a feeling.
Therefore, Tatami which has the soft elasticity of touch was able from the feeling of kindness.

Tatami mat is the peculiar thing which the wisdom of the life of the Japanese race produced.

Nara Period (710～794)
Gosyou-no-Tatami:Thing which the emperor used. There is it in Shoso-in.
Heian Period (794～1192)
Hinogoza:It was used at the ceremony. It's used by Ungenberi-Tatami.
Kamakura Period (1192-)
