Shogun (Military commander) attire set.


This is the military accouterments for Samurai in a high position. Jin-baori (battle surcoat): This is worn over an armor as outfit for cold weather and rain. Sleeveless style is commonly-used.

Haori-shita(under haori): This is worn under a Jin-baori for cold protection. This is collarless and sleeveless. (photo ref)

Eboshi: Old-time noble cap. There are various styles depending on the circumstances and years.
This type is called hikitate-eboshi. This is used for under the kabuto (samurai warrior helmet). (photo ref)

Kyahan: Old-time Japanese gaiter. This type is called Ohtsu-Kyahan. (photo ref)
